Anyone like real beer out there? Ever heard of Dogfish Head beers? I love 'em. I'm off to go drink a couple of Dogfish Head 120 minute IPAs and call it a night. Two beers, total of 24 oz, 40 proof each beer...I love it. This is my Tuesday night ritual. Then tomorrow, my day off, I get to play on Rocky (my ruck).

18.5? that's sweet! I wish I had the lawn to justify that!! My girlfriend would leave me or maybe she'd buy a bigger one to show me up...? She's good at doing that.

dont worry, the grass only grows for a month before it freezes again- j/k northern sells atv mowers that u pull with an atv. you'd be my hero if you mowed your yard with a ruckus, even if it was xterra powered.

Anyone like real beer out there? Ever heard of Dogfish Head beers? I love 'em. I'm off to go drink a couple of Dogfish Head 120 minute IPAs and call it a night. The 120 min are a bit much for me-- but the 60 min IPA is really good. I'm lucky enough to live near one of the best (probably the best) beer distributor in Pittsburgh, and less than a block away the same owners run a beer-and-hot-dog shop so you can try a single bottle of anything. I've been able to enjoy a lot of good beer that way. I'm currently fancying the Flying Dog Pale Ale (sentimentality over Hunter S. Thompson?-- Ralph Steadman did the bottle art) as well. Normally though I like Scottish ales; if I could afford it I'd drink Belhaven all the time.

Well, I'm not really a beer drinker, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has had Saranac's Root Beer. Stuff is about the best root beer I've ever had. My new girlfriend knew I liked Root Beer, and she used to order it for me from the liquor store. Ah, that was always funny, leaving the liquor store with a case of root beer. It's good stuff, though, if you like Root Beer, and maybe even if you don't. ;D

I know I'm playing the Canadian card here but if you guys come across any Canadian beers, give em a try. You probably wont get the great micro (small brewery) beers but even if you get Molson or Labatt, try em. I think they are 5% alcohol (by volume). Tasty and POWERFUL

Well, I'm not really a beer drinker, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has had Saranac's Root Beer. Stuff is about the best root beer I've ever had. I love root beer; thanks for the recommendation. The best root beer I've ever had is Virgil's-- nothing else holds a candle to it. You run the risk of ruining yourself on other root beers, though; it's that good. Given how expensive it is (a couple of bucks a bottle, possibly $5-$10 for the "special editions") though I guess it has to be the best! More affordably, if you're in the western U.S., you might be able to get Tommyknocker's; I really liked that.

I'm more of a cream soda kind of guy. There was this german stuff I had once here in CT and I've never found it again. It was the most amazing cream soda! Sooooo good!
Canadian Beers in Connecticut: Unibroue, Molson, Labatts and Moosehead. That's it. The Unibroues are fantastic!
I haven't tried Saranac's rootbeer. I might order a case through my store and try it out.
