urbanscootin is kinda stupid, so they allow you to upload your own avatar on their server. Just register on their forum and then you can then link the avatar from there to here. Just keep the proportions the same or you'll have a squished image.

On this board, I think 100x100 pixels is as big as it can be... mine's bigger, I think, but I've got it set for like 100x85...

jpg and gif images are the two image types to go with. jpgs are higher quality than gifs, usually. Mine is an animated gif.
