So, this morning (well, 1:50 pm, not really morning anymore) I was gettin' ready for class... so I went outside, uncovered and unchained Ryoko, and started her up... I went back inside, to put on my jacket and helmet and grab my bookbag... and I walked outside... and didn't see her... Yeah, she was laying on her side... it's been raining for the past few days... I park her in the grass... and the right side of her kickstand had sunk enough for her to tip over... Fun stuff before class... So, I was even more late... but other than havin' to move the mirror and clean some mud off her, she's fine... though now there's two cement tiles out there in the mud that she's on... oi.

I don't like to see my scoot on the ground much either. In fact, mine has only been there once. Ya see, I was riding along, trying to kill some time before my next class when I decided, "Let's look at the motor while I'm driving." I was on a flat, straight rode with zero traffic so I was leaning over to one side and looking down at the motor. I looked up, and what do ya know, I was headed straight towards the curb. I collided with the curb, flew off my scooter but luckily, the scoot never really fell it just scraped along the curb a bit. Some minor scratches never hurt anyone.

Ha!
Actually my first spill happened the day I got mine. Infact, I hadn't even left the Honda dealership. I was loading it into my friends jeep (I didn't have it insured yet) and I was leaning it with one hand and trying to open the tail gate with the other. As my mother always said , "dont have your hands full when you are trying to do a task" The scoot started to fall away from me and sometimes when its going that way, you just can't stop it. I felt silly. Scraped the muffler guard. Duh!

Get a side stand and then you only have to worry about one side sinking in whatever. I has a Sportster fall over in hot asphalt. The answer in a pinch is to find a beer or soda can and crush with your foot and use as a support under your stand.
