I remember seeing a motorbike repair televsion show a few months ago. It was hosted by a very knowledgable guy who takes you step by step throught the repair of an entire bike. He gives thorough explanations of everything he is doing. It was the best show I have ever seen, but I cannot remember what channel it was on, or what the show is called, or who the the host is! I think I remeber the host as having a british accent. If anyone knows the name of this show please tell me! Its driving me nuts.

It's on the Discovery channel and it's called a Bike is Born. It's a british show and he rebuilds old bikes. I saw the one on a HD 45 and another on a Triumph Bonneville. It truly is step by step.

I watched this guy do a frame off on an XKE. He is too anal retentive for me, or maybe I've built enough stuff that I don't need to know which way to turn a wrench

Yah, it seems like it would be too slow paced if you already know what you are doing. For a total novice like me, its pure entertainment.

I need to start taking notes on how he does the show though. When I do the tech I tend to leave stuff out and it gets people lost. It's real hard to look at things from the point of view you had back when you started wrenching. Now I don't even think when I work, it just happens. I toss the left over parts on Ebay Just kidding
