Hello guys, Over the past few weeks I found some neat additions for my BR. The first are handgrip covers, bought at a local shop for $11.00. These'll hopefully keep the hands warmer during the cold months. They sagged a little so I just attached some straps I had leftover to keep them nice and level. The second accessory was a battery indicator, bought new on ebay. You hook it up to a 12V line on your BR, and the LED's will light either red, amber or green. As long as the LED's are in the green, the battery is fine and charging. For the cold months also added the leg guards from Battlescooter store. The installation directions were in Japanese, but there are enough pictures with the instructions for you to figure it out. I then decided to add some retro/colorful/whimsical decals to the inside of the leg guards to liven it up. One other thing. At 1000 miles I decided to change the final drive oil. It was pretty dirty. Replaced it with Bel-Ray Hypoid gear oil, 85-90W. As per the manual, it should be changed every two years. Check it out below. And, man am I enjoying this scooter, it is the best two-wheeler I have ever owned. Thanks for reading. Spongells

Lookin' good.
I've been meaning to try to fit some hand sheilds on my little Ruckus, but haven't ever finished the job. Would have came in handy this weekend.

In the olden days we used to cut up plastic milk bottles and fit them on. Flimsy but cheap. They came in 1/2 or gallon size, hee.
