Hey all BRucksters, As you know, the helmet holder that comes with the BR is basically a plastic shielded-cable wire that connects under the seat for you to loop your helmet into. That's okay, but this could use an improvement Well, here's a nice helmet holder I made consisting of a clip and loop of strapping that's riveted to the middle of the handlebar. This looks nice and neat, and it makes use of all the space in the middle of the bike. I got the clip and loop off of an old toolbag, but they have similar loops at home discount stores. To dress it up a bit I put yellow plastic ties on each side. Now I can remove my helmet while sitting down and latch it onto the clip and get off the bike empty handed.

Bought an '06 BR two weeks ago.
Joined this site today and it's already paid for itself! Your idea beats the dickens out of Honda's cable lock.
Thanks!
