I am looking to buy a big ruckus for me and a regular ruckus for my wife. What kind of gas mileage can I expect to get with each of these.
It is not a selling point, just curious. With gas prices going nutz I am just planning on getting a couple of fun scooters.

80-100mpg with the little one and I think 65-75mpg with the Big Ruckus. I haven't used a BR but that's generally what others have said.

I just got my Big Ruckus a couple of days ago, just filled the tank again and got 76.4 mpg, most of my driving is 55 mph hiway, about 80% and about 20% in town, I live out in the country and needed a vehicle I could afford to drive as its ten miles just to go to the grocery store, I love this thing, quiet, powerful and great mileage, now if I can just fit a windscreen I'll be really satisfied, I was going to post a pic in the pictures section, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Welcome to the board. You will need to host your pictures on some picture posting place and then use that picture address to post it, there is some instructions on the general info ;D

When my engine wasn't even broken in I carried a gallon gas tank in my rear carrier. The bike coughed and died at 210=70MPG. The gas gauge totally sucks.

When my engine wasn't even broken in I carried a gallon gas tank in my rear carrier. The bike coughed and died at 210=70MPG. The gas gauge totally sucks. I get 55-60 in the city and 60-70mpg on the highway. Have lots of accessories on my bike. Weighed it at a friendly truck scale to see why I was getting low mileage in the city. Including me it topped out at 670#. Was carrying a lot of tools; as I was working on some other folks scooters, locally. Jetisoned the extra tools and mileage jumped about 5 mpg. I figured my accessories weigh in about 80# easily!!! I carry a mountain stove fuel bottle in my saddlebag. It's empty around town; but on trips I add some Techron Fuel Cleaner and fill it. Going to make a bracket for it and mount it somewhere safe. Added a ballast for one, HID driving light under the ignition switch using the button head bolt that secures the body panel in place and a plug connector like those found on windshields. Originally was going to secure the fuel bottle using that button head bolt. Want to carry it somewhere that will not expose it in a crash.
