tha dude that sold it to me said there was one and it made the ruck shut off when idle and lower speed

Mine doesn't tap brakes. Are you hitting the rev limiter? How fast are you going when this occurs?

There is a redline at 40-45mph (depending on the year of your scoot) that feels like the power cuts off and it can backfire a bit but other than that there aren't really any restrictions. The airbox is a little restrictive but it doesn't really affect your top speed at all.

it's an '03 and now that i tightened /lossened the screw under the seat it doesnt do that any more
