I think making a box for the underseat area is the best way to go. You arent going to get much sound if you try to stuff everything in the battery box.

well thats what I would intend to do I can get an amp easy but a 9 inch sub and two tweeters are the hard part and then wiring it up with an extra battery if called for , which is one of my questions. would I have to get a secondary battery?

I'd say no....just wire in a ciggarette lighter socket so you can charge it easily. Any stereo over 40 watts is going to drain your battery so you need to be willing to plug your Ruckus in after long rides with the tunes pumping. 2 stereos would give you a longer life between charges but either way your Ruckus won't make enough juice to run the stereo so you'll be running them down. I'd try it with the stock battery first and if it dies to quick then I'd add the second battery.

well I've seen pics of people with a secondary battery seperate from the normal system. So from what you're saying It would have to be recharged every once and a while which is fine ,but how much would adding the rechargable stuff be i.e. the inlet and charger itself. I mean I know I would be spending a crapload but still how much would all that cost which also includes a custom box for under the seat?

I think the cigg lighter socket would be cheap...$10-$20 likely and then a charger would be $15-$40 for a normal one.

I hate electrical stuff too but this shouldn't be that hard...you'd just run 2 wires from the socket to your battery. I believe there is a detailed how to with pictures and everything on TotalRuckus.com for this mod.
