I sometimes strap on a milk crate on the left side of my Ruckus with the help of bungee cord. But since I don't do this very often I always forget the best way to strap it real tight, and usually have to get ready an hour ahead of time before my ride.
So...Does any body here know the best way to strap on a milk crate using bungee cord? ...I'm new btw, sup l: )

There are some pics here (http://www.battlescooter.com/23.html) but I haven't done it myself. The best way to do it may be to pick up a rear rack from www.Battlescooterstore.com and secure it to that.

No way! There is no good way to put a milk crate on a Ruckus. Would you put a bike rack on a 911?

The one thing i really love about our rides is that we can customize the heck out of it to suit our needs and the scooter still will look great ;D

I can't figure it out. I put a rear rack from Battlescooter on mine like DD says. That works. But without a rack, that I want to see. Seems like scratchesville to me. When you get that figured out, you better get some good close up showing how it's done. I'm sure all here would like to see that ! Mr. Greg

Yeah my local Honda dealer has the Givi box on a display Ruckus and the underside of the frame tubing was totally scratched up. I'd hate to buy that Ruckus and find that a few weeks later.

I just got a new Ruck 3 days ago ('09 Black/grey mat finish). I decided I wanted to have some storage to throw crap in that wouldn't fit my underseat bag, so I spray painted a milkcrate black, and used black Zap straps to attach it to the rear...
If you use plenty of straps, you can wrap round the rear tail light and strap to that tail bar behind the seat. My crate is on there rock solid and doesn't look all that bad either.
N.B. This only works if your taillight and seat are still stock/ are level with each other.

has anyone bought the underseat storage system from battlescooter? I'd love to see what it looks like on the actual Ruckus, it looks super clean, without having zip ties all over the frame.
