Hey Hey, I haven't been able to check out the ruckus to see if there is any bolt holes for foot pegs. So I wanted to know if it's possible to use foot pegs from a BMX bike and install them on the Ruckus. I'm sure there must be some steel in the area to drill through ...anyway anyone ever check that out??

It's a common mod, no drilling necessary. You'll notice that there are holes in the frame where the floorboard meets the engine. Just bolt them in with washers: (Not my scoot!)

oh yeah that's nice.
is there anyholwa to put them a little closer the front.......like a cruiser? By the looks of the picture it looks like a no go. something like those tubular floor board w/ pegs.........without having to buy the whole unit.

You can also take some metal bar stock and whip up a bracket that goes underneath the floorboard (or over top) that is held in place by the front 2 floorboard bolts. You basically run the bar across the floorboard and then bend it down at the edges of the floorboard and drill holes for the pegs.

You mean you enlarged the current holes into ovals? Or drilled all new holes somewhere? I think you're finally going to have to post some

Blackruk How did you install the second set of pegs? Drill new holes or make a custom bracket? I haven't looked real hard yet, but I can only find one spot for putting pegs on.

If you look at the picture I posted carefully, you'll note that there is no drilling into the frame. The pegs are bolted into one side of the angle iron. The other side (top) is bolted into the stock holes that hold down the gas tank.

That's actually pretty funny. I should. Yeah, it seems like I do it once a week. I try to be helpful. Why don't noobs use the seach function? Isn't there a how-to on this?
