Me got the rearpulley spring kit from battlescooter, has 4 springs of varying strength.
but, how do i replace the little wotsit?
i'm sure i've seen it on site before,but i can't see it ..
can anyone help? and pics would be nice of course,uummmmm yummy !

First you need to remove the nut holding the clutch bell on using your variator tool or an impact gun. Then slide the clutch off the shaft and press down while you remove the outer retaining clip with some needle nose pliers. Then the whole thing will pop apart and you can just drop the new spring in and squeeze it back together while you put the retaining clip back on.

thanks guys, i was assuming it was a little trickier than it is,
will post results of the spring change, going for the stiffest one,to keep the revs up...

Sounds good....with the stiffest spring you're going to need to watch your belt wear....even a kevlar belt will likely only last a few 1000 kms. Also, keep in mind you may need heavier rollers to counter this heavier spring too. You might need to go up to 7g.
