Anyone else not like that bracket on the bottom of the battery box, that makes it a huge pain to take the floorboard off I have the solution CHOP IT UP WITH A HACKSAW Yess

Chop off the ends so they look like this And then Reinstall like so Now it wont take you 20 mins to take the floorboard off

Nice stuff! I just ditched mine on my 2003 Ruckus which saved a lot of time but you do get a lot more crap under the floorboard etc. if you ride in dusty/dirty conditions.
With my 2006, I've done it enough times that I've got a few tricks and it goes okay but this part is definately a poor design.

I should just weld the rest of it underneath
