I bought a cheap bicycle cable lock because I wanted a short piece of cable and eyelet off of it. The cable I bolted to the seat with just enough play in the free end with eyelet to go on the helmet lock.

Hmm....interesting...is this so no one steals your seat??? No It just keeps honest people honest and lazy thief's (the majority) lazy; you could still steal the seat and the amps mounted to it by removing the 6 bolts that hold the seat frame on. But it makes it a lot more difficult to steal the amplifiers and things in the underseatbag without setting the alarm off.

I forgot you've got the amp under there. That makes a lot more sense.

Are you not a fan of rolling with the tunes pumping cwizard? An amp isn't a really high priority for me but I do think it would be awesome to have.

is that hooked up to your stock battery...just a nightly charge right? pnw If you look right behind my under seat bag in the pic above you can see my extra battery. The amps should draw power from the closest source. Both the extra battery and stock battery are hooked together with an 5amp fuse between them. If I remove the fuse my stereo and extra lights are completely isolated from the rucks electrical system. With the fuse in neither battery can steal more than 5 amps from the other. My trickle charger plugs into my 12v accessory outlet. And if I want to hook up the big charger I clamp to the terminals on the extra battery.
