I went to my local Ace hardware store today looking for something to use on the Ruckus, when I came across some hole grommets that would make a nice clean way of getting your cable lock through the deck and lower frame. What you'll need: Hole grommets at least 3/4" preferably 1" or more, make sure your cable lock will clear it. $3.00 for three. A hole saw drill attachment appropriate for the size grommet. $4.00. A drill. An exacto knife. The stock plastic deck. A hole grommet. Drill a 1" hole through the deck. Make sure you know what's underneath the deck so you don't drill through anything important. Use an exacto knife to shave off loose bits of plastic. Finished product. Total time about 15 easy going minutes...

That's a great idea. I'd have to make one to fit my Kryptonite Fugetaboutit Chain, though. That's one hell of a hole I'd have to drill.
Anyway...
That's pretty cool, Spoon

Update - the grommet was a little too small, getting the cable through there was a little tight. No worries everything can be improved upon. Went back to the hardware store and found some plastic hole covering thing that they use on cubicle desks ro run wires. I just used an exacto knife and a file to enlarge the hole I'd made for the grommet.

simple but effective, i think best that everyone has at least some kind of security on their bike.
personally,i have a screeming alarmed padlock, that goes off when it is pulled, while still locked.
