Ill be making em tommorow, so wish me luck. I had this bloody brilliant idea on the parts to use. So far this has cost me $10 for the pegs $8 for the aluminum plate $6 for the latches $1 for the bolts to hold the pegs $5 for white spraypaint I still need a couple little things as far as fasteners and such goes, ill be grabbing em tommorow. My engineering brain is back since im done school now, i got some time to tinker around with wicked stuff and mods

If your engineering brain can figure out a decent way to use a footpeg and the BSS Kickstand on the same side I'd be a big fan.

Rock on, ive got one done now, ill do the how to tommorow, seeing as i still need to work on mounting them to the floorboard, the T's i bought arent long enough so ill have to figure something out, they dont look as nice as i had envisioned, maybe ill just get some new 3/8" bolts and mount em where everyone else has

meh, it doesnt look nearly as clean as with them mounted below. And it was way more pricy, i really got to find some decent clip ins, it would work much nicer than trying to click a bracket. I like them where they are mounted now with just a 3/8 bolt and a couple washers on the pegs. It cost me all of $15 for the pegs, washers, and bolts. Its nearly $40 for the clips, aluminum brackets, screws, bolts, etc.. Ill have to see where i prefer them mounted. As for clean it gets no better than with them just bolted near the radiator under the floorboard in the holes there, its a nice change riding position wise.

i still like them mounted under the floorboard more, im done them now, im just waiting for the paint to dry. I took all the pics along the way, ill be doing the how to tommorow, assuming all goes well at work........ Under the floorboard takes all of 10 mins to install, looks sweet and really pretty, and the difference in riding position was awesome, i dont know how i rode without pegs before Not to mention cost me all of $15 to do The removable too me are a lot more difficult to make, and they do look really nice though, but they are pricy, the parts and suchforth cost me around $45 to do it, and about 5 hours or so in labour if i had done it right the first time as far as mounting goes....

BTW im not going to do a how to on this, because i feel it was wayyyyy to difficult to do, unless i can manage to get them mounted further out near the wheel without them popping out.........

Yeah, that's way to close to the seat to be good...
Not to belittle your work or anything... ;D
They look decent, though...

Yeah, thats why im taking just a flat bracket and pushing them out near the wheel The stupid things keep coming unclipped though, b/c theyre too far forward Im gonnna see if i can handle a door latch on the back just to hold it down

Yeah, this was a stupid idea, way to expensive and annoying to get them to stay, maybe a little clip on the back, im too lazy to care about it anymore. Just go with the nice BMX pegs on the 3/8 Bolt with a polzi nut and lockwasher, and be grateful.
