Should I apply the lube to the bearings, the lobes, or both?

It's time to bring this thread back to life!
What did you use to polish the head with? I've been searching for days to no avail. After seeing some write ups on Dremels forums, it seems like you could use the felt attachments with polishing compound without much issue. I just bought an '04 P&P head on TR that needs a cleaning and re-work to the polish job, but I'm not down with having someone else do it when I can learn myself.
I also plan on shaping the intake to match the JC20 manifold too, so any tips there would also be greatly appreciated!

Danke for the feedback! I ended up using the white polishing compound that Ryobi makes with the felt tips on the Dremel. Worked alright except for the little areas, but anything was better than how it looked! ;D
I'm about to do a write up on TR about the intake shaping. Once again, Dremel FTW!
