;D Timber, Thanks for helping me with the Kitaco variator Mod... What's improved is the accel off the line, uphill climb and holy cats the downhill speed you said would improve (70kms). I may as well try the 6.5 gm rollers. do you have 6 16mm's in that weight? I lose top end so i believe the New CDI will help open that end up. Then the Tach attack... I do have 6 16mm's, you could just take the ones that came with my polini kit for a spin.... Im still undecided b/w the 6's and 6.5's, im gonna hafta get that low end set up before i can test it. Good to hear the downhill speed is rocking ruckusincalgary doesnt believe me it goes faster with the variator, ill have to show him when i blast his 06 to bits with my tuned and modded 06

DD i really think you should throw that center pin on there, its aweome for the .40C it costs, i just hold it on the face, and dont have to hold it down or anything, gives me like a third hand

I'll let you know if I need em, thanks. I refrurbished my holding tool, I got it to work. I can vouch for Timber's high, speed, even before the cam install. He got the goods ;D

Do you have a close up pic? 2 - I'm concerned tool buyers won't understand how to use it. I could make a little instructions sheet that I mail along with the tool....

Its more like a teeny mount that rests on the casing, just so you can use one hand to hold the pins where they belong on the variator, and the other to torque the bolt off with a wrench.. Essentially it neglects the need to put force on the variator tool.... and you can use your free hand to hold those pesky pins on the finned face, ill try and get a piccy early tommorow afternoon or so

Makes sense...I'll consider doing this if I make another batch. A pic would be good.

Yeah! making an instruction sheet wil help the customers with the use of the DD variator tool ;D

Well sorry to hear that.
You know, Keri's grandmother ruined some of her vacation plans with her death a few months back.
Ah, what a terrible thing to say.

Timberwolf: condolences on your Grandmas passing. Don't pay any attention to Kami's insensitivity: no one else does.

I didn't think he would. At least, I hoped not.

Thanks for the pics TWMC, I understand the concept and I'm hoping to do that when I make a new batch this weekend. Is that a normal bolt that you've attached? It looks funky and flat.

Hey Timber, My Gramma in Sweden Passed away on June 18th at the ripe ole age of 92. I never knew her as we moved to Canada when I was 4. Cheers for Family About my Kitaco Variator. Satisfaction is the action. I'm doing 65kms on flat. 75kms downhill. The Ruck is hungry for hill climbs, even if my speed increased ever so slightly. It doesn't seem to struggle like the little engine that could. ;D
