I don't think it's possible to get a Ruckus running good across the board once you get into rejetting so I just aim for the most important parts which are the 0-30km/hr performance off the line to keep up with traffic and then my top speed of course. You might find your 0-5mph performance gets better once you adjust the idle mixture screw. Im going to try a 38-85 Shim, and a 40-85, but most likely ill be sticking with my 35-85 Shim, as it is very good performance wise everywhere, best setup thus far that ive tried...

Yep, i stuck with my 35-85 Shim, and i threw the polini in..... I dont have enough power to pull the higher gears up top.... SUCK!!! Now i must try rejetting again, just edging 75 coming downhill before i ran outta road and needed to slow down, gotta find a good hill to go ripping down for the top speed test..... I went with 6.5 g rollers from BSS, i may go down to the 5.6s when i get back from vacation

Ill try and do a video with both the stock setup with the 35-85 shim, and then the polini with the 35-85 shim, i need more power on the top end, might be running a smidgen lean, but its often hard to tell......
With the 35-85 shim vs the 38-85 no shim setup, i notice the engine doesnt climb revs as fast, ill most likely end up trying a 40-82, chopped diaphram spring, and ill just order the stupid IMS tool from honda

I like the highest main jet possible that doesn't make my plug totally black and fouled...a little black seems to be okay as long as it's not covered.

Hey folks, SKYPILOT here. First Post. We're up at 8000' feet in the San Luis valley colorado. Any ideas out there as to a proper jetting set-up for the thin air? Also, no spark! With no voltaqge from the pulse unit, I assume it's bad. Any tricks out there?

Normally i would recoment a smaller main jet, or a freer air filter, maybe you will need to scruff the outside of your flywheel with scotch brite in order to get the signal to fire the scooter, more info would be helpful

What has everyone been using for a pilot screw wrench?
I want to adjust my idle speed mixture, but I have to get the proper D-wrench. The shop manual says the stock numbers are either 07KMA-MS60101, 07MMA-MT3010B or 07MMA-MT3010A.
Do I have to order one from a dealer or does anyone know where else I can get one?

I looked around and could not find an aftermarket tool, so the only source apears to be the dealer I made a home made tool out of an old radio antenna, but it is just not hard enought to last
