anybody know if a Vino 125 motor would fit on the ruckus frame, i think im gonna head up to the Yamaha shop and get a second opinion.......... Im more worried about if it will throw the bikes balance off......
What motors around 100cc or so would fit on the ruckus frame, im actually considering the possibility of a zuma motor with an 82cc kit......
Im still in the debate stage of a) Boring out the 05 engine, and once its worn out get an engine swap done b) selling the 05, getting the 06 and the big bore piston
Id like a top speed of around 90km/h, even 85 would be nice......... If at all possible, id love the ability to wheelie, just cuz itd be cool

If you do an engine swap I'd recommend a 125 4-stroke over a lower cc 2-stroke. The 2-stroke swap might be easier but if you take your time with the 125cc and try and make it as clean as possible you'll be better off in the long run.
I still vote a 2006 with the big bore piston though. I'm not sure what you mean by '...once it's worn out...' because these pistons are slick coated and you still have some good sleeve left so you should never wear this engine out.
The 125cc will be faster but it's way more work and you're gonna end up with a bit of a frankenstein with any engine swap probably. The big bore piston in a 06 might only get you to 50-55mph with some gear swaps (metro gears!) but I'd take that over 65mph in an ugly bike that you spent 6 months building.

my friends 80cc zuma does about 95 all day, and about 110 on flat ground. The zuma is also 100 lbs heavier than the ruck..... Id prefer the 4 stroke just because its easier to maintain
