This is my first post to this site. I am considering the purchase of a Veypor data acquisition system for my soon to be delivered Ruckus. Have any of you installed one of these? If so how does the device deal with what are essentially infinite gear ratios. I've downloaded their manual and can't figure this out...

I don't know any specifics but supposed they work great. The owner of the battlescooterstore.com and battlescooter.com uses one and sells them in the store. You should be able to get one on ebay for an alright price.

When you have a scooter the veypor gear indicator light doesn't work because we don't have set gears. However the Veypor does always know your gear ratio because it knows both your RPM and your rear wheel speed so it's constantly calculating that and using the number to come up with the other stats so other than the gear light everything works normally. They should consider adding a scooter mode.
