I'm so glad I read this entire section. I have a new '03 and after reading about too much oil I went into the garage to ck the oil: it was exactly to the top of the hatch marks: good. I get out my super digital tire gauge and both tires have 11LBS in them. The dealer is a screwup and has a filthy shop, that should have given me a clue. Luckily I only have 40 miles on the clock. Now I can't wait till the sun comes up to see how it rides with the proper 25lbs. My bad Don't assume anything, tomorrow I am going to remove the battery cover and make sure that is installed properly and to install my battery tender. Bikes are notorious for eating batteries, lack of use, vibration, no care: but if you use a battery tender about $35 on the net, I have stretched the battery in my Helix to 10 yrs and my Valkyrie with a 6 cyl mill to spin is now 7 years old..

I think every Ruckus owner needs a battery tender ;D
Too many short rides kills batteries and charging systems.
