Umm.....for me the problem is that I am moving to the West coast in 3 weeks (late September) so I'll be 4500kms away. I was looking at the pictures you posted in the other thread and this ride looks amazing but there's really no way I can make it. I probably won't even have a scooter at this time. My '83 Yamaha Beluga is actually for sale right now because I can't really take it with me. The plan is to sell this scooter and then buy another Ruckus out West as soon as I've got a secure job. I should be back Ruckin within 3-6 months from now. Anyways, enjoy the ride everyone...if you're thinking about going do yourself a big favour and do it. Scooter rallies are a total blast....I wish I could make this one. As for other Canuck riders....there is another guy (Donny) who had been seriously talking about going but he hurt his back a month or two ago and he's been pretty much chair bound since then. He's going in for surgury in a few weeks so I don't think he'll be recovered enough by then to get scootin yet. |

OK, Chanito, it was brought to my attention last week on this motorcycle trip based out of Docks Motel that you haven't booked a room yet. They are about 90% full already....... ;D My bike is the Red/White/Blue Interceptor.....Mrs. skuuter is the one being hugged, riveruckas and hubby are on the BMW, other guy is a friend from Georgia. What time do start riding on saturday. I can make it up Saturday morning I just need a time and a good place to meet up .I can only stay saturday and leave that night . Do you know of a place I can leave my truck without getting it towed? Thanks, Larry in Bristol Va.
