A friend of mine has a wideband sensor kit he purchased to tune his car properly. It just sits around most of the time. I was wondering about welding a mounting bung in the exhaust somewhere but all the tubing is so small.
Where would you suggest for location? Could I make some sort of adaptor to make it fit somewhere? Are any of the aftermarket exhausts more suitable for this?
It would really take a lot of the guess work out of jetting perfectly.

Just make a little outlet. I don't know how to discribe.... weld a bung on a tube then the tube to the exhaust. If you get the tip in flow like 1/4" it should work fine. I have one on my real motorcycle but I'm too lazy to move it over to the Ruckus. The Stinger exhaust I have is perfect.. I think. It has a collector at the base of the can, I say "I think" because the collect may just be for looks. I hate to cut it just to find out it won't work.

;D i have been toying with the idea of installing one myself, the best position i could think of was at the point where the pipe comes out from under the engine and turn 90 degrees toward the back, weld the bung so the sensor tip goes into the pipe going towards the back and the wire goes forward, installing it further back is not a good idea as the exhaust would be too cold for an accurate reading, the other position would be at the 90 degree bent inmediatly bellow the exhaust port, but welding so close to the flange would require great welding skill in order to prevent bending of the flange by the welding heat
