I just took my scoot in for its 4,000km tune up and found the drive belt was worn and slipping. The belt replacement wasnt expensive ($35) but the fact that it wore so quickly was a bit worrying . I only rode it last summer and this summer so it wasnt full time riding. I hear there are kevlar belts that last longer. Anybody know about this? I bought the full service manual so i hope to never have to take it in to the shop again. The hourly rate here is $85. A bit steep for my bank account. Ruckass

I think he means any owner of a Ruckus or any other scooter, can work on it themselves. Pretty easy to work on is the message.
