great to finally find people that know something about the ruckus!!!  I just got my ruckus a week ago and i love that thing. unfortunently honda did not have a manual available so they will be sending it to me via mail. i have tons of questions, but i will not drive you guys crazzy, yet ! like ive said ive had my ruck for a little over a week and have put 85 miles on it. I use it strictly for coming and going to work which is about a 13 mile run back and forth. I want my ruck to last a long time and i know that the oil system being in good shape is nessesary. How often should i change the oil and filter? thanks and good to be here!! p.s. am i the only ruck owner in the miami florida area?  i havent seen not one, but would love to have someone near to work on and drive around the bikes |

Boy, are you in luck, buddy. Chanito, the maker of the Big Bore piston, and supreme Ruckus technical genius, also resides in Miami. I'm sure he'll be thrilled there's another Ruckster nearby.  As for oil changes, I do one ever 600 miles. Oh, and  |

Chanito when you read this post please let me know, or give me a call I am in miami and havent even seen a ruckus down here. Kimo was nice enough to let me know your in miami also. when i broke in my engine, i changed the oil every 50 miles for the first 300 miles. then, i've been doing it every 300 miles.
don't forget, there is no oil filter in our engines, so all the dirt and shaved metal get suspended in the oil instead of being held by the filter media. i personally don't want my engine to have any dirt in the oil when it's revving 150 times a second.

awe man, the thing is that when i bought my ruckus the honda dealer didnt have the manual so they told me they would ship it.
i hope i havent done any damage! shi!!!!
anyways, I am looking to slowly mod my ruck. I am tall 6'1"
i hate it how i sit so high up. my goal is to make it so that i am comfortable. I was thinking of the frame extension, and a lower seat. what do you guys think? will this make a diffrence?
i hope so. I also want that drag/chopper look i think this would help let me know
