Okay, I'm Bigb and I just purchased two 2006 Ruckus' with about 70-80 miles on each and while checking the body out for problems, I removed the upper bolt on the block to check the oil but leaning it over almost completely, no oil drained out. Okay, the questions are: What type of oil is the best? Where do you put the oil in? and how much oil do i Exactly add? And yes I am a newb...

Not sure if you are talking about the rear gear oil or the engine oil. I'll give you both:
I use 80w90 gear oil make sure it says "Hypoid" on the bottle. It only takes a 1/10th of a liter. Put the Ruck on the center stand, keep adding a bit at a time until it won't take anymore and starts leaking out, then let it sit for 5 min and allow the excess to drip out - the oil is very thick so it takes a bit.
For the engine oil the Ruck takes .6 of a liter and use a good quality 10w40. When you check the dipstick make sure it is 1/2 - 3/4 of the way up the hashmarks. With less then 100 miles on it I would change the oil at 300, 600 and then use synthetic at the 1000 mile mark. The service manual says to clean out your oil filter every oil change but I wouldn't go the the hassle of that. Just do it every 2-3 oil changes. My Ruck has 3000 miles on it and I have yet to find anything but a clean oil filter.

Yup the Honda spec for the transmission oil is 'flush to the bottom of the bolt hole' so it's easiest to just over fill it and then let it drip with the Ruckus level until it stops. The is supposed to be 0.1 litres if it's empty. You do need to lean your Ruckus WAY over to drain it though so it's possible yours isn't that low...that would be really wierd if it didn't have any. Regarding the oil, use way ixoye777 recommended although there is a little breathing room with the viscosity so if you find something a little thicker or thinner that should be fine too. It's important that it says 'hypoid' though because that is supposed to be good for gears.
