OK, this just started to happen on my Ruckus two days ago. Yes the gas tank is full and always filled it before I ran out of gas:
I noticed when i start the engine a clicking noise more like a diesel type noise somewhere in the drive area but it could very well be coming from the fuel pump, that usually dissapears after it warms up. But what's curious is that if I turn off the engine and leave the key in contact, the gas light comes on. Same thing happens if I leave the engine idling. The gas light goes off as soon as I start or rev up the engine again.
While idling I did not notice any majosr rev variation...
bike has 450Km in total...
Gas tank is full!
Has anyone seen this?

My gas lite comes on when i press the starter button then turns off, but i do have the clicking problem too, im almost positive its my kickstart like trying to engage while im driving its weird.

I think i know what you guys are talking about. I've noticed some wierd noises too and mine were from the kickstart. When you park the ruckus and put it up on the stand it's easy to bump the kickstart. Then the next time you turn it on the kickstart isn't fully disengaged so the noise occurs. It could also happen from the drop the rear end experiences when you push it off the stand. Either way when I hear it i give the kickstarter a little pull upwards or just ride for 10 sec and it sorts itself out. You could also try lubing up the kickstarter.

That still does not explain the anomaly with the gas light...
But I will certainly look closer at it tonight at least to identify the noise source while trying your tip with the kickstart...

The gas light thing is new to me. It could be a bad sender unit. It's just hard to know. I wish we could Email our scooters to each other I would give it time to sort it's self out. You could have a piece of filth on the sender. If your kickstarter doesn't spring back or feels tight it needs a good cleaning. I'll post the tech on battlescooter. I've had to clean mine like every 500miles because the kickstarter stopped working. The Ruckus will get louder as it gets older. It seems like newer motors are running looser than years past and the Ruckus is one of them. I just hope motors don't get as loose as in the Model-T Ford.. Got Earplugs
