I removed my carb to do an engine removal. How do you get the excess gas out without taking it apart. I dont know ho long this will take so i want the gas out before it varnishes the insides. Thanks.

Use a flat bladed screw driver to open the screw on the bottom of the float bowl at the back right corner. The gas will dribble out the nipple so you can use a hose to drain it easier but I usually don't bother.
