I really hope this hasn't been posted somewhere, I searched and couldn't find an appropriate answer...I read what i could about carb jetting on here today. I am buying a used 07 Ruckus this weekend in Charlotte, NC. I live in Asheville, NC at about 2200 feet above sea level. Is my scooter gonna need to be rejetted or is the altitude difference negligible (about 1500 ft difference)? I'll also be taking this Ruck higher, maybe up around 4000-5000 feet. Will it suck that high? Thanks for any help!

go down one or two on main or throw in a B&S filter and go from there

Probably not.
I live in Statesville, and went to school in Boone, and I never had any problems. I can't speak for going up any higher in elevation than the 3200 feet Boone is, but Asheville shouldn't pose any problems.

I'd run it like it is for a bit and then pull the spark plug and if it's running rich (ie. black sooty plug) then you could go down to a 72 main jet (from a 75).
