Hey guys, this is getting frustrating. You all know my ruckus is CRAZY slow. Will Honda's warranty cover anything if I take it to a shop to be looked at. I dont know much if anything about the motor on this thing. like i have said before, its an 07 ruckus, and it struggles to reach/keep 35mph. I cant take it back to the dealer, as it is 2 hours away.

You can take it to any Honda dealer if you believe you have a warrentee issue but you may get better service at the place you bought it. Each dealer has a certain amount of warrentee work they are allowed to do per month so if they value your business they are more likely to use some of that quota up on your bike. Also, for big jobs (over $400-$500) they do always have to ask Honda first.
Anyways, take it whereever you want if you want but I don't think that a tune up is going to be covered under warrentee.

If you bought it new from the dealer then take it back and tell them to fix it. If you bought it used, don't bother, they won't help you at all.
I'd say start with the top 10 list of why a Ruckus is slow and go from there:
Flat tires Overfull oil Nasty Air Filter Bad Gas etc etc

I'm with IHAR. I you check those things and still it's that slow, FREEK. Especially with an '07'. something is definetly wrong. I have an '06' and weigh 370 lbs. and I have no trouble hitting 38 - 42mph depending on the head wind. ;D Mr. Greg

I did a FULL ON BA tune on a 2004 today, went from 30 tops to 42 on the limiter.
Plug, AF, FF, OIL, Rollers, Belt, CLEAN AND LUBE EVERYTHING, blah blah blah...
Maintainence is your friend, and is NOT covered under ANY manufacture warranty.

Sometimes, all it takes is a little elbow grease, and some crossed fingers.
