Never got a response to my email. I had not noticed Dan that your second reference to this company would put me right to the part. I ordered the one with the nipple a few minutes ago on my Visa card.
I think this will work well.

I received it in the mail today. I am impressed with it and am waiting for my next oil change to install. Will be a couple hundred more miles.

Doesn't work. There is not enough clearance to turn it in past an engine mount bolt casting. I need a12 x 1.5 mm , male to female adapter with a 45 degree bend.
DARN.

I an in the process of getting an adapter made to bring the unit straight out and avoid the protruding casting. It is just a female to male 12x1.5 mm adapter. It will thread into the engine, the fitting I purchased will go into it. I called in a favour at work to get this made, so it will be a one shot deal.

This should work, but I won't be able to do it for anyone else. I suspect a similar stock fitting is available in Europe, where metric is more common. The company suggests that they can supply adapters, but I couldn't get a response to emails from them.

Yeah, I bought a F-109 fomoto drain plug too. I was going to grind part of the ear off the case. I can't believe that it would hurt anything. But now, thanks to 8chpl, I'm going to make an adapter myself. I'm retired, but I think that the boss would let me go in and make one. If not, I'll have one of the other Guys make me one! The plug looks GREAT ! Quality with a capital Q.

I have been neglecting my old post here, I don't think the guy has gotten around to do the fitting, it has been about 7 months. I ran into him last week and he has transfered to another department. I didn't ask him about it, but........ I don't hold much hope now.
