Well I finally have my previously enjoyed Ruck on the road and noticed that once I get it up to about 50km/h, I get a significant shaking in the front end. The psi seems to be right so I am guessing there must be a flatspot on the tire from winter storage, anyone else having that issue? Also I can swear I can detect some kind of friction sound coming from the front wheel. Do my forks need servicing?

More than likely you have some rust in the front drum, and the way to fix the flat spotted tire is to fill it with 45psi and go for a long ride, then set the air pressure back to normal and you should be set, for the rust on the front drum you will need to take the wheel out of the scooter and sand the rust out of the drum, or just keep riding the scooter and the rust will be cleaned by your brake aplications
