Hello, as of recently the nut that holds the drive face on vibrated off and in turn shot the thing off and ping ponged around inside the CVT case. The drive face is destroyed, but I have since replaced that about an hour ago. Before this happened i could easily do 40+ with no problems. Now that i have put a replacement drive face on (NCY performance) and took it on a test ride, it wont go more than 30 at about 8600 rpm. I checked the belt, clutch, and roller weights. I have the polini variator kit installed and it has worked flawlessly. The bike is stretched 9.5 inches, bigger jets, yoshi exhaust, airbox delete, cdi, heavier roller weights, and now an NCY drive face. I'd like to repeat that the bike did work 100% fine before this event. I have a feeling that it has something to do with the primary drive not adjusting the size far enough as it used to. I also noticed that when putting the new drive face on, it only went so far as to cover the front of the teeth; meaning i had no room to fit the kickstart washer on it. (i have removed the kickstarter from the bike). So i left it off. This means that the teeth are exposed inbetween the weight cradle and the drive face. Which makes sense now seeing why the ratio is off. This wasnt on purpose though, as i couldnt push the drive face on any further because of the belt width. I made sure that the belt was on all the way and tensioned right. If you need more info, im willing to provide anything. Please help!! Thanks!
