Recently bought a 2009 Honda Metro, (GET2 Engine) stops, starts, runs, but huge oil leak when running. On top of that, previous owner tried to "fix" it, so who knows what they messed with. On the plus side, it was cheap and the plastics all look decent. On the downside, they spray painted some odd stuff, like the turn signals and the inside/outside of the CVT cover. I'm not a mechanic, but more than willing to turn some wrench and have done some work on my day to day vehicle. There is a major oil leak inside the CVT cover, but it could also be in a separate place behind it too? Opening up the belt drive I found a large round seal that doesn't seem to fit into anything hanging loose (circled in red) Pictures below.
Can provide more pictures/video, this is a project I'm looking to spend some time to complete, though I'm not sure if I would want to take the engine apart yet if it came to that.
