When we first noticed this problem we cleaned the carburetor and tried to see if that would work… it didn’t so I decided to come to here and ask for any ideas/advice. -thanks Sam

Following... have the same problem with my new-to-me 2009 with 1200 miles. Have not done any fuel related changes yet, but I did change my air filter, filter cover (because mine was warped) and spark plug. Next thing is to replace the air tube between air box and carb, drain fuel, change fuel filter and clean carb. I might try resetting the ECU by unplugging also.

Update: have now replaced the air tube (mine was cracked), drained fuel, changed fuel filter, cleaned carb (was surprisingly clean), replaced jets, reset the TPS and now running much better.... but still have just a minor bit of bogging on top end. The only things remaining are replacing the fuel pump and checking/adjusting the valves. It is kind of hard to start, so wondering if it could be the valves?
