I am just getting into upgrading my 2009 from stock. I have added the NCY CDI as well as 5.5g sliders, but it seems like my performance got worse, not better. I was really hoping to boost just a little. My top end speed was 37mph, but now it is only about 32. Not exactly sure what to do about that... Any guidance would be appreciated

You'll definitely want to install heavier weights. I actually mixed the weights on mine; also important you should replace the variator as well if you did not already with the new sliders .

Ncy CDI is straight garbage. It's going to burn out one day and leave you stranded. Yes, it does rev higher but the ruckus is just slow in general. Ruckus "engine performance" is a scam. You want to go faster? Swap the motor. You might want to check your valve shims, the extra revving might have thrown it off. Return the cdi if you can and go back to stock.
