People keep saying “just find a place”, but I have no idea where that could be. I want it tucked away. Can someone tell me or show me where? I’ve heard “on the swingarm” or “anywhere on the floor board”, but I still don’t know where exactly that means.
Help....help me. Please.

Hey Ruckmaker, they say to just find a place because it's all up to personal preference and type of build. If you don't like the little black bracket hanging off the rear frame and want to move the entire unit/stretch the harness for it you could put it pretty much anywhere you want. If you just want to ditch the hose because you swapped air intakes you could do as little as just putting an air filter on the pcv intake port. Hope this guides you in a direction that suits your needs!

Removing it completely would be ideal. So many differing opinions. So scared removing it will screw something up.
I guess I’ll remove for now and when the bike blows up, put it back on.

The PCV was introduced to get better airflow through the crankcase as the 03-05 models suffered from oil contamination leading to main bearing failures. If you do delete the PCV system entirely I highly recommend that you change your oil more frequently than the manual says you should in order to get more life from your engine. |
