First post to the forum.
I recently purchased two Honda Ruckus's. Both are heavily modified. One includes a GY6 conversion.
The GY6 model appears to have a stretch kit, however I am not sure how much it was stretched out. Appears to be 6-8". Looking to do a 12" stretch. Bike also has a 10x7" rear rim.
Looking to increase the stretch, Change my rims and tires to something larger and more attractive. Aiming for a 12x8 rear rim or a 13x8 rear rim. Also want to install a rear disk break system.
Questions:
1. Will my existing stretch kit allow for further stretch or will I need to buy a completely new stretch kit?
2. Since my existing GY6 has a 10x7 rear rim, will a 12x8 or 13x8 rim fit without further modification?
3. I was under the impression that Ruckus GY6 with fat rear rim were 12x8(13x8) 3+5 4/110 offset and bolt pattern. However when viewing the rear break kit at the ruck shop and other vendors, the rear hub appears to accept other bolt patterns?
4×130 (m10x1.25)
4×100 (m12x1.5)
4×4 (m12x1.5)
4×110(m12x1.5)
4×115 (m12x1.5)
4X90(M10X1.25)
Can I start to look for rims in other bolt patterns or should I stick with rims of the 4/110 pattern only?
