12V-2-Pin-Speed-Adjustable-LED-Indicator-Flasher-Turn-Signal-Light-Relay-U4L6
This blinker module is available for $3.30 shipped free from china(china AKA 2 week wait)
and requires very little modification for ruckus use.
its adjustable but blinks perfect DOT spec right out of box.
Install guide.....
Step 1: Remove back cover of battery box and identify the blinker module. it is a small black canister in front the battery on the right hadn side. it has a white quick disconnect plug on bottom.
Plus should have 2 wires, a black with stripes and a grey.
Step 2: the stock module has a rubber holder keeping it in place remove the module and rubber by sliding it to the right.
once removed unplug the connector from the bottom of the old module.
Step 3: the plug harness has 2 wires and a gap in the middle , you will need to cut the plug in half down the middle. its simple to do since the harness plus is designed for 3 wires and theres no middle wire.
Step 4: Place the side of the connector with the black wire to the spot on the new module marked "B", Place the grey wire on the side of the connector marked "L".
then get your key out and test it. you may need to adjust the screw on the bottom to get the speed of the blinker to your liking.
NOTES IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!!
1: you should consider getting the proper terminal connectors so you have a better more solid connection to your module.
2: If you notice that both blinkers are blinking or 1 side is barely lighting up when the other is suppose to be lit, you will need to remove the green led by your gas guage that tells you you have a blinker on.
and com on cant you see if you have a blinker on i mean its not like your more than a foot or 2 from it.
I hope this helps someone it took me scouring about 15 post before i found all the info i needed
This unit is currently powering 2 eagle eye amber LED markers in the front and a R^ taillight in the read perfectly.
