Hey, I'm new here and am obviously a noob. I was wondering how I would go about wiring two 12 volt led strips to the battery. Would I connect directly to the battery or somewhere else. Thanks

 You will need a realay or at the very least a switch (you can get away with only a switch with LEDs, due to their low amp consuption)

You can wire them directly to the battery, which is what I did... But as an extra precaution I used a 'fused link', and switch when doing so.
You can also wire them up to your headlights if you feel like going through the headache of trying to figure out the wiring diagram...
