I just bought a new 12' Ruckus and this is my first experience with anything like it. So far, I love it and haven't had any scares on the highway that I have to commute down for work. My question is, b/c so much of my drive has a 45 mph speed limit(about 10 miles), is it ok for me to keep the accelerator at max for that long? I will sit there with it maxed out for about 8 - 10 miles without ever letting up.
This may be a dumb question but all I have to compare it to is my car and if I kept it floored for the whole trip, it would screw something up... Are scooters supposed to be driven like this or do I just need to deal with slower speeds and let up a bit?
Thanks for the help!

That is a very common question for new owners, and the answer is : Yes, you can just keep it at max for a while, it will not damage the scooter, just remember to change the oil every 600 miles and you will be OK

You can take it on the highway? I don't think I can do that here in NY.
