Well, Mitzie and I left out Thursday mornin' headin' to Townsend in the Smokies on the PCX125 Scooters. The Weatherman was callin' for rain, so we headed out with it behind us. One thing we did encounter was the worst "continuous" winds we had ever ridden in. We spent the first 80 or so miles in 15 to 20 mph steady winds with constant 35-45 mph gusts. We finally rode out of this around Rockwood, Tennessee. When we arrived, Kami and Joie and Their Rucks were already there.....We parked the PCXs under the Pavilion, then waited out the rain to end in about an hour before rollin' out one of Them to 2-up down to the Riverstone Cafe for a Veggie Plate.....When we got back, Mitzie took a nap while I hung out with Kami, Joie, Sharron, and Her Cousin Nadine.....The View from Our River Cabin.....Most everything below 4000 feet was peaking on this weekend also.....Some Beautiful Scenery in the Area...Well, this was Thursday...Friday's Thread comin'..."The First Ride", then next will be Saturday's Great Adventure...stay tuned..... ;D
