Has anyone ever thought to produce replica "Ruckus" style frame? It was just a thought that I had, considering with so many mod's you can do to a Ruckus... After having seen so many custom Ruck's they essentially arent even Honda's anymore (besides the frame). Why purchase a whole Ruckus just to strip the whole thing down to the frame to put all new parts, accessories, new motor, etc....?
I know if China can produce fake Rolex watches, someone can produce a replica Ruckus frame...
Just a thought...

There is plenty of ruckus-looking scooters from China, most with air cooled engines

Yeah I know, my dad actually tried to convince me to buy one rather than the Ruckus, of course I said eff no... But just to have a frame to do with what you please would be better than buying a whole scooter... Just seems like a waste of perfectly good parts to toss away in the srap pile...

Can my 09 ruckus run air cooled? Can I remove the radiator? Yes, but not for long, and maybe never again. Water cooled engines are not designed to dissapate heat to the air they are designed to dissapate it to the water, if you remove the water there's nothing to dissiapte the heat to so it just continues to build until you have catastrophic failure.

On my Last 07, I finally took the Aluminum Front Section off, drilled, ground, polished everything not necessary, then re-made all of the rear steel section from scratch using a modified Lowered Seat Mount and thin wall 7/8" and 1" Tubing...also welded in two 3/4" thin wall Tubing down braces to the Front.....stripped everything off not necessary....no horn, turnsignals, all kinds of brackets, nuts, bolts, washers, etc. ......finally weighed only 141 lbs full of gas....big difference in take-off and maintaining Hill/Mountain climbing Speeds..... ;D ;D ;D
