I am a total noob and not mechanistically inclined. I purchased the subscription to the online Honda Ruckus manual to assist me with removing the throttle and rear brake cable. To my surprise, their is nothing in the "service manual" notated to help me accomplish this task. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...and needed at this point. Thanx in advance.

You will need a pai of pliers and some patience, hold the cable with the pliers and then with your fingers unscrew the adjusting nut all the way out, then slide the cable toward the front of the scooter, do not loose the little drum that goes in the lever or you will not be able to put it back together, thenm there is a bracket that hold the cable to the variator, get a 10mm wrench and get it off ;D |
