Does anyone here have the chanito windscreen? if so, can you post up some pics, from different angles? It looks like it sits way forward to me, (to retain use of the front rack, yes, i know) And does it look like you could angle it back farther with the upper stays? Not much mind you, just an inch or so.
Thanks everyone.

Aloha everyone
Great forum. I just checked with Chanito for a windshied. OMG the shipping is more then the windshield. That is a lot more then I usually pay for my dental products from NY and Virgina. I just ordered a special fireproof backing for my stove . 12X24 and it was less then a lb. it cost 21 dollars plus ins. At that price I can make my own shield. Does anyone have any in structions on a shield?
Mahalo Nui Loa (thanks alot) Happy Holidays

Sorry for the mix-up gang. ....I aplogize for the windshield status and cost of shipping. I also misunderstood. I will rectify the situation. The forum clearly states that the windshield is highly recommended and this is why I wanted to check on the mailing and price. Therefore, I will email the Chanito and inquire again. Bump for the best damn Ruckus windshield period! Anytime someone asks me about it, I tell them its the "edit profanity" and tell them how to find the maker. I'm pretty sure I'm responsible for at least the last 2 sales. You still have these Chanito? My gf is about to finally get a Ruckus and you KNOW a Ruck isn't a Ruck without that shield! ;D Beauty shots...

I cut off the little ears where the headlights were mounted when I installed my Drag Bars. Are there any other places I could mount the windscreen?

did you have to relocate the blinkers to install the chanito windshield, or was it just out of choice? either way it looks good... also, i know you used that plastic/rubber dip stuff for the red, do they make that in black? ive been looking but cant find it...

The windshield attach to the turn signal ears, you do not need to relocate the turn signals, but need the metal ears, so if you remove them, you will have to figure out a diferent place to attach the brackets

The turn signal relocation was just for looks. The windshield works either way. To relocate u just have to drill out the holes where your reflectors are a little bit so the blinkers fit there. Then I took the reflectors and put them where the signals were with a few washers on each side so it was flush. The rubber dip stuff is I used is called plastidip and its available in many colors. At least black, red, yellow, and blue. You can find it at any hardware store in the states. Just say, "where's the rubber dip?" There's dip and there's spray. The dip works better in my opinion. You can tell what color it actually is by the small colored sticker on the top of the lid. The label shows the same color on all colors.
