 where I work I have access to some Lexan so NATURALLY and I plan to install a homemade windscreen. I've seen members pics of theirs and they seem 2 be mounted w/ a bracket off each turn signal and then a 2 clips on the metal bar above the fender. About what height is best for increased speed/reduced friction? Has anyone else made their own? Thanks Canmaker

i made my own. only problem is that it was ugly.
i made it out of just some plastic to it wasnt quite clear.
the height thing...idk if anyone knows the best height. however, i just made mine as tall as i could w/o it touching the handlebars when they turn. i played around with a few different angles and i found that i got a better speed with the windshield tilted back more than most ppls are.
let me know if you need a picture. even though my attempt was UGLY hahaha.

im embarrassed. mines sooo ugly!!! just make sure you actually use lexan/acrylic and not just some random plastic.  |

I have Lexan so it will bend when I mount it to a nice radius......I'll post some pics when I'm done. Divulge ur mounting method Chanito  |

;Dwow thats sick, do you have extra mini foot pegs for a passenger on this. The yellow makes it look bada$$ , and yea since im moveing to portland im for sure geting a windsheild, cause its cold there. I want more people to post pictures of there Ruckus's.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,chris

Those are actually frame sliders, to protect the scooter in case of a fall, but they work wonderful for a passenger to rest his/her feet, i put some a/c pipe padding on the rear seat frame and i take my daughter to college sometimes (i just love to embarrass my kids) On another note, my older son graduated as an engineer from University of Florida and gave me the sticker, and to gave my two sons equal time i ask my younger son who is in the navy for a sticker ;D Now i got to get one from my daughter
