Some new pics of Katrina with the Michelin boopers, and my painted variator cover You can see in the back the old Racing Kart my son used, it has been in the tool shed for years collecting dust, so finally we are getting it back together I also installed a radiator cover from Robomod from TR, and i think it looks super nice And finally a better pic of the new tires Hope you like the changes, i am not so happy with the look of the cover in yellow, so i will probably be back to stock

I like the yellow cover. Maybe it doesn't look as good in person, dunno.

I really like the yellow cover too. Keep it!
I've always though the Ruckus doesn't have enough colour on it because the only things Honda paints are the rear frame, seat frame, front rack and battery box. I think a Ruckus would look better if they painted the main frame too and the drive cover to match.

Those mirrors certainly stand out driving down the road. Everyone was out riding when me and my brother got to TN, and we passed them going the other way, and those mirrors stuck out like a sore thumb.

Nice pics Chanito! Thanks for posting! Those sliders look like a good idea but your yellow mirrors would probably still take a lot of the impact....you might need to repaint those if you crash.

As some of you know, Katrina engine had the crank bearings very noisy and i took it apart to fix it but it has remained apart for a while, but since i finally have some free time, i have started to work back on her, i replaced the bearing and put the lower part of the engine together, and since reading about Smartbomb wild engine i got jealous and decided to go all out on the engine rebuild, so i got the HO camshaft from Keith over at 970performance, the parts look amazing, i installed it already in the head and started to shim the valves, the intake is a little loose so i have ordered a new shim for it as none of the ones i have was the right size (and i have a lot of shims ) Also got the big carb from JC and i am impressed with the quality of the kit, i am going to install the new throttle cable over the weekend, i hope i can do a how-to but i do not remember where i put the photo camera (if the wife finds out i forgot where i left the camera, she will kill me, so be quiet), so far the carb looks great but it looks like the manual choke is going to be a pain in the neck once the engine is on the ruckus i guess i will cross that bridge when i get there. I have been working on the head to get the scooter to rev easier, so i also modify the valves and rocker arms did some wild mods to the combustion chamber if every thing goes according to plan i will be cruising at 9500 RPMs I also found a Chinese scooter they were throwing away and got the front fender out of it, and modify it to fit Katrina, i had to put a couple of coats of school bus yellow as it was a weird shade of purple. I hope to get back to run in Katrina by the weekend and hopefully i will post some pics I will post some pics as soon as i can get some time to look for that hiding camera, meanwhile i will dedicate some time to the tuning of Katrina and report on the cam and carb

ya, chanito. get on this. lot's of people want to know YOUR results. Now you got me scare. Why are my results so important? Anyway, i have encountered some problems in the install, i will try and solve them today and i can have my Katrina back, first the gas line does not reach the connection on the new carburator so i have to buy a new longer gas line (the fitting is on the other side) also i can not longer use my under seat trunk, as the carburator cable stick straight up And i have no place to install the pcv hose and i hate blowing that to the atmosphere, the manual choke is another hurddle i have to solve, because i have to reach in the side of the carb to move the lever. I hope Smartbomb is right and i will be able to cruise at 50MPH or i wll be doing a lot of
