Hi Gang.
Have had an 05 250 since August of 05. I'm just surprised enough of these things got sold for someone to make a website.
I was using it for commuting during the first year I got it. Drove it for 65 a day until it snowed last year. Talk about some amazing gas milage.
Then there's all the looks you get from folks...most seem to be wondering...what the heck is that thing?
Great to see a forum for it. Hopefully, I'll find and can also offer some useful info.

When I first got into these I bought the lil 50. It was pretty nice & I even got plates & had it on the road. Although there wasn't too many places I could ride as most of my area has a 45 mph limit. I grew tired of the 40 mph top speed & then saw the Big Ruckus. So, gave the lil one to the wife and road around on the 250, having a much better time. Took several nice trips up north and used it to get to work.
While pretty fast & fairly comfortable I still wanted more. So I traded in the lil 50 & put that money towards a Suzuki M50. Now things are really where they should be. When I feel the need for speed I take out the M50...when I want to carry cargo & or just relax I take the Big Ruckus. It's all good, so long as I'm riding.

go get that ruck again ,and do some of those mods
which will make it much faster.
new variator and rollers
metro gear set
exhaust
chanito's big bore kit
and
a ruckus central t-shirt!
getit sorted newbie..

wow i can just about remember this one.
variator,cdi,exhaust and loads of other goodies are at
battlescooter,and 907performance parts
(i heard a ruckus)
the metro gear kit from your local honda dealer,
type in metro gears on the site search for part numbers.
the big bore kit you can get from the mercurial chanito,
just pm him for details,he's a super friendly guy to deal with,
this is the single biggest gain you can make by far.
btw i think dandy dan can provide the service to have the work done.
if you still can't find what you want pm me or one of the staff..
jeez,i spent so long writing that dandy already did it,i'm such a slow typer.
