Removing shock from Big Ruckus

I removed the shock from my 2006 Big Ruckus the other day, just to see what I was dealing with. Pretty easy removal. I had to remove 3 of the 4 bolts that hold the plastic cargo plate to expose the top of the shock to get a wrench on the top of the shock.
I can tell you, no adjustment. Very large shock at 46 cm with no weight.
It was about a 15 minute job to remove and reinstall the shock.
I will take it off later this winter and go to some M/C parts houses, and post what I come up with.
The shocks posted on BattleScooter.com seem to me to be smaller than what is on the Big Ruckus.
Somebody with a Big Ruckus needs to compare shock sizes with a Ruckus.

The little Ruck shock is 260mm long (eye to eye) with obviously a lot smaller diameter. You can get longer versions though (but maybe not 460mm) so if the mounting points are the same then that's an option. I'll have a look at the BR shock sometime...there's one on campus here pretty often.
